The Second Phase of the Last Straw project was announced in March 2020. This phase was designed specifically to curb the use of plastic carry bags in our cities. Stitching units are to be set up in association with Don Bosco Veedu, an NGO based in Trivandrum, to stitch cloth bags from recycled cloth. This not only helps fight plastic pollution but also aids in empowering several women to support their families.
